Taekwon-Do Kirksville
Taekwon-Do has been in existence for 31 years.
Senior Master Bill
Stephenson opened Kirksville Taekwon-Do in the mid-70s.
Sr. Master
Stephenson started teaching taekwon-do classes at Northeast Missouri
State University's gym (now Truman State University). Then, the
location moved to several facilities, YMCA, Mary Immaculate Catholic
School gym, etc. before it finally resided to where it is
today.
Sr. Master
Bill Stephenson and his son, Master Dustin Stephenson, continue to
teach
this martial art to many students in the northeast Missouri area.
For many students of Kirksville Taekwon-Do, it is a place
that
encourages health and wellness. It aims to achieve the 5
Tenets
of Taekwon-Do: courtesy, integrity, perseverance,
self-control,
and indomitable spirit.
